What we collect

Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, items bought. Card details are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store them.
Account and newsletter: your email and preferences if you subscribe or create an account.
Device and browsing data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and how you reached us, collected with cookies and similar tools.
Messages: what you send us by email or the contact form.

Why we use it (and the legal basis)

To process and deliver your order, handle returns and answer you (performance of a contract).
To prevent fraud and keep the store secure (legitimate interest).
To send news and offers, only if you agree; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
To measure and improve our site and advertising, using analytics and advertising cookies only where you allow them (consent).
To meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the store: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, email tools and, with your consent, advertising and analytics partners such as Meta and Google. Some of them are outside the European Economic Area; when that happens, the transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order data for as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 10 years). Marketing data until you unsubscribe. Browsing data according to the cookie settings you choose.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to brightupllc3@proton.me; we answer within one month. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents can use the Your privacy choices page to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
